Thank you for your interest in our MLP Domestic 26 Weeks Training & Assessments Course.

Please note: This course is available to all new entrants into the Gas industry and a work place portfolio is required.

All Candidates must be able to work alongside a Gas Safe Registered Engineer while building a Work Place Portfolio. Unfortunately We are unable to provide any Portfolio Work Experience with a Gas Safe Registered Engineer, this will need to be provided by your self or company in order to build your portfolio.

The course consists of 40 days in centre training and 90 days on the job Training alongside your Gas Safe registered engineer while building your Portfolio. this can then followed on with the Domestic ACS assessments which will include Domestic CCN1 + 1 Domestic appliance of your choice, after the operatives completed MLP on the job work place portfolio has been handed in and the MLP section has been certififcated.

Additional Appliances can be added subject to you providing sufficient portfolio evidence towards that appliance.

On completion of the MLP candidates wishing to extend their range or scope of work must have a minimum of 12 months Gas Safe registration before being able to apply for further Training & Assessments in your required field of work.

Example:

A candidate who has under taken the MLP with CCN1 + CENWAT can then after 12 months Gas Safe Registration apply to extend his range of work to include other Domestic appliances or to extend his scope of work into other fields IE. LPG, Industrial Commercial Heating or Catering.

Week 2: 3^rd to 7^th February On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 3: 10^th to 14^th February In Training Centre

Week 4: 17^th to 21^st February On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 5: 24^th to 28^th February In Training Centre

Week 6: 3^rd to 7^th March On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 7: 10^th to 14^th March In Training Centre

Week 8: 17^th to 21^st March On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 9: 24^th to 28^th March In Training Centre

Week 10: 31^st March to 4^th April On Job Training & Portfolio

Week 11: 7^th to 11^th April In Training Centre

The target date for the submission of all portfolios is the 1st December 2025 or sooner if completed.

On successful certification of your MLP Training and Workplace portfolio you can then apply and book on for your chosen Domestic ACS Assessments. Please speak to Michelle, Jan or Paul to arrange this.

Domestic MLP Training and Assessment Price Breakdown

= £4,000 + Vat = £4,800.00p

Once the operatives portfolio has been submitted, internally and externally verified and certificated by the NICEIC the operatives would then be able to book on to complete their Domestic ACS exams. We do suggest that the operatives book on for refresher training when they come to book on for their assessments as there may be a large gap between the MLP training course and the MLP certificates being processed.

However, if the operative would prefer, they can book on as assessment only for the Domestic  ACS exams. I have included the price breakdown for both below.

ACS Refresher Training and Assessment

CCN1 + 1 APPLIANCE Training & Assessments: £1000 + Vat = £1200.00p

Assessment Only: £850 + Vat = £1020.00p

Full payment on booking is required and no places will be held after 24 hours of booking without this.

A Personal payment plan can be arranged for more information please contact the office and ask for Michelle. A 50% Non-Refundable deposit will be required on booking No places will be held until this has been received

Payments can be made via card payment over the phone or via Bank Transfer.

Please Note

• The MLP Certification can take up to 6 weeks after the completed portoflio has been handed in and processed at our centre. (Please note this is not including the ACS certification process)
• The ACS certification process can take up to 4 weeks after the date of completion.
• No work can be carried out until you have sat and received your ACS certificates in the post and the operative has been Gas Safe registered.
• We DO NOT register operatives with Gas Safe this needs to be done by their company or personally.
• We are unable to provide any portoflio work at the centre and this needs to be arranged by yourself, with a Gas Safe registered engineer. We advise getting this arranged before booking onto the course, as you would be unable to complete the course without a work place evidence portoflio being made along side the course.
